A Fall Engagement Session

We are almost to the end of October and the colors are finally starting to shift to all of my favorite tones! Just in time for my sweet friend’s engagement session. Emilee is my kinda girl. We worked together at a design company and always bonded on all things clothes, home decor, and cute pictures of animals (can’t live without ‘em!). When she asked me to take photos for her and her handsome fiance’s wedding day, I’m sure you can imagine my excitement! So here we are, almost a year away from their wedding date. I met them at Centennial Park in Springfield with a few key locations in mind- all of which were perfectly lit by the golden hour sun for lovely 60 degree evening. Does it get any better?! Mind you, I am 8 months pregnant for this shoot… but my level of excitement for these two had me running around as if I was a younger, slimmer version of myself (RIP high waisted skinny jeans). We laughed, danced, chatted, and they put up with me and all of my heavy breathing.

Now for the good stuff- here is Emilee and Brandon (soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Lex)! They couldn’t be any cuter.
